I am an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST, and leading the HCI Tech Lab (Human-centered Interactive Technologies Lab).
I am also affiliate with the School of Computing and the Graduate School of Metaverse.
My research focuses on enabling natural user interactions that overcome physical, mental, and social barriers.
My research scope would be in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) emphasizing interaction techniques utilizing sensing technologies, haptics, and wearables.
Before joining KAIST, I was a principal engineer at Samsung Research and research engineer at Microsoft Applied Sciences Group. I received my Ph.D. from Purdue University, and M.S. and B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University.
